Progress is happening a lot faster than I thought on this piece.
I did a lot while I was out at the market. But this has been a slow week the salon as well. I have two more I want to do for RawArtistDC. I have 20 tickets I have to sell. Its how RawArtist runs its organization. However if I don't sell them I am responsible for what doesn't sell. So even if you can't make it. You can always purchase a $10 ticket and I donate it. My raw artist profile is where you can purchase and see more info about the event.

So of course it slowly has defined my work. Half woman half something else...
The possibilities are endless. They either have bee bottoms, wings, tree heads, horns, tentacles, objects or antlers. They maybe totem heads or both totem heads and some type of animal bottom. The ideas are endless. But most likely they will involve a beautiful sexy woman and something else.
Below is a pretty much finished piece, I have to add one last touch before I sign her. The other is a drawing I'm transferring onto wood panel.
I will post more about that in the next blog.

Whew after a few trials and tribulations I have completed the plexi glass inspiration wall mural. The concept has come to fruition. Here are images of the beautiful place and my installation.

This past Saturday was the second week of the Silver Spring, MD market. The threaten of rain stayed away once again. It was great! I sold a good amount of older art. To my surprise a diptych sold seperatly.
It will be very interesting to see how the rest of this season goes. I also plan to do Expression live again this year.
I'm doing better at following up on possible clients as well. However I have learned that 90% of the people who love your art and say they want it... don't want to pay for it. Its a bit frustrating at times but I still see a steady pace towards the right direction.
This looks like it will be one fantastic summer. I have quite a few paintings lined up and tons of concepts I would like to used for a show this year.
