Okay so anyone who knows me personally knows I have a gap. I actually have three but two are due to two of my teeth being pulled. I'll be getting implants for those in the late spring. I'm scared because dental work whether cosmetic or hygiene scares me. 
Anyway I love painting features that society has deemed imperfections. I love my gap, all of my father's side has one. I look like them. 
Gaps, close set eyes, freckles, wide set eyes, big lips, deep dark skin, pale skin, baby necks etc etc. They are all beautiful to me and I love how they make us unique. I want my art to mirror the beauty looking back at her.
